All MPL Branches Closed for Library Use but OPEN for Solar Eclipse Events
All MPL branches will be closed for library use on Monday, April 8 due to the total solar eclipse. Muncie, Indiana is in the path of totality for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Viewing parties will be held that afternoon in the green spaces at:
Connection Corner--1pm to 5pm
Kennedy Library--1pm to 5pm
Maring-Hunt Library--1pm to 5pm
Solar Eclipse Viewing Parties. Set up your blanket or chairs starting at 1pm. Free solar-viewing glasses and refreshments while supplies last, Fun activities and more! Program details will vary at each branch. Solar viewing glasses made possible by the Space Science Institute's Solar Eclipse Activities for Libraries (SEAL) program with funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
