6th Annual Scarecrow Festival In-Person
Join Maring-Hunt Library for their sixth annual Scarecrow Festival! This autumnal tradition is a public event with free food, live entertainment, family-friendly activities including face painting; crafts; potato sack races; and of course the main attraction - the Scarecrow Competition! Help fill the MH Garden with Scarecrows big & small, and celebrate the start of fall.🍂 A special thanks to Muncie's 8twelve Coalition, the Common Market, and the Book Center for their contributions to this event.
To enter the Scarecrow Compeition, assemble your Scarecrow and bring it to our MH Garden Pavilion between 12-1pm the day-of; winners are selected by popular vote during the festival, and will receive a Librarian Approved mystery prize! Registration occurs in-person when your scarecrow is delivered, or at our Build Day program on October 4th.
