Free Legal Aid Phone Line (Adults)
Indiana Legal Services, Inc. will provide free and confidential legal consultations by phone on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10am-1pm. Community members may call 317-973-1673 to be connected with an attorney.
Indiana Legal Services is a nonprofit organization that provides free legal counsel to Hoosier seniors, low-income persons, and victims of domestic violence on civil legal issues. To be eligible, a person must generally have a household income that is less than 125% of the federal poverty level, meaning less than $1301 per month for a household of 1, or less than $2682 for a household of 4; sometimes those with slightly higher income can be eligible. (Note: Those ages 60 or older are financially eligible for services regardless of income or household size).
