Stranger Reads, A Horror Book Club: Season 2 (Ages 18+) Online

Stranger Reads continues into November, with a coming-of-age story like none other. It's "The Wasp Factory" (1984), by Scottish writer Iain Banks. The story focuses on 16-year-old Frank, who lives with his father on a small island in rural Scotland. There is no official record of his birth, meaning his existence is largely unknown. When outside events seek to uproot his daily life, Frank will have to contend with much more than his many daily rituals. Probably one of the best examples of trangsressive horror!
