Women's History Month at MPL: "Emily Kimbrough: From Muncie to the World" (Adults) In-Person
This program will celebrate National Women's History Month and the Notable Women of Muncie & Delaware County Project by featuring one of the most notable, Emily Kimbrough.
Karen Vincent, Delaware County Historical Society (DCHS) Board Co-President, will share highlights of Emily's life and career from her early years growing up in Muncie to her work and accomplishments that took her all over the world. The "Paul Revere Players" will offer an Emily Kimbrough reading to introduce the program.
Exhibits at Carnegie Library will feature original scripts and other items of Kimbrough's that were donated to the DCHS collection by Emily's official biographer, Dr. Harold Caldwell, retired Ball State University administrator.
